First day in Hangzhou

Not a good day, because Nicholas is sick. I'll spare you the details, but we've spent the whole day in our hotel room(s).

I ended up having lunch by myself at the hotel restaurant. I ordered more stir-friend green vegetables and a steamed whole fish. I let the waitress pick which fish. What a great lunch. I ate everything, starting with the head and left nothing but a small pile of bones.

They served a plate of sliced oranges and something that looked like pear or apple. I almost ate it but then remembered that the last time I was in Hangzhou I got sick after eating in one of the most famous restaurants here (either San Wai San or Lou Wai Lou), and decided to blame the sliced watermelon. So I skipped the fruit. So far I feel pretty good. But with Nicholas sick and Lauren not feeling that well either (complete opposite of our first trip together to China), we're not doing much today.
